A little love from our clients

“Lisa was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish and we cannot recommend her highly enough — hiring Born & Bred was by far the best decision we made in our whole house renovation.”

“If we could give Lisa / Born & Bred Studio six stars, we would. My young family and I recently moved halfway around the world to a new home in London, practically site unseen. At every step, Lisa exceeded our expectations. She really invited us into the process when and where we wanted to be included and managed the rest without our having to think about it. The end result is a home that we truly love.”

“We hired Born & Bred to design our four bedroom home on a tight timeframe of three months (new baby on way). Lisa did an incredible job working at a fast pace, to understand our style and source the necessary pieces to execute on our vision for the house. Above all, Lisa is a true professional. She showed up to meetings on time, met deadlines, kept us informed of deliveries, and problem solved any issues that came up (without making us feel like it was an issue).”

“Working with Lisa really was a great experience. She took the time to understand what it was we wanted to accomplish with our home, rather than trying to impose a pre-determined blueprint. Lisa’s professionalism gave us the confidence to move away from a very safe white interior to a bold and contemporary colour and pattern palette.”

“We moved into our house 5 years ago and painted most of it grey or blue. Lisa has helped make our home into a warm, calm, gorgeous space. She has exceptional taste and a great eye, so much so that I now can’t make any interiors decisions without her!”

“I couldn’t recommend Lisa highly enough. She is the consummate professional, who takes the time to listen and really understand the brief and how a house must work. Lisa took our muddled bunch of ideas and managed to create the most perfect look and feel to our family home.”

“Lisa has been brilliant to work with. We knew what we liked but not how to recreate it on a budget and in our own home. Lisa was able to bridge the gap from the idea on the tip of my brain to a coherent design and shopping list.”

“Lisa was amazing! She has helped us to completely transform our house and we are thrilled with the results. We instantly warmed to her from her first visit and were really excited by her ideas! The gallery wall going up the stairs is perfect!”

“Highly recommend Born & Bred. It’s hard to believe it’s the same house. We had just a few weeks between getting the keys and moving in. In that time we were able to design and decorate the whole house, and it looks amazing.”

“Born & Bred Studio had a very honest, upfront and consistent approach to creating a home with OUR character (and a style we never knew we had!). From the initial meeting we felt completely at ease with no pressure or intimidation.”

“Lisa lives and breathes design — it’s not so much a passion or an expertise but a true vocation. For novices like myself, she manages to make interior design accessible, affordable and user friendly. Completely, 100% 5 stars.”

“Lisa is an absolute professional. She designed a playroom, living room, family room, snug and 3 child bedrooms for us. Easy to work with, tons of great ideas, mixes family friendly design with high-end feel, always transparent and on-time. We were sad when the project ended!”

“Cannot recommend Lisa highly enough! She designed 2 children’s bedrooms and an amazing home office/loft space for us. Lisa was punctual, thoughtful and very creative. She was also fantastic at taking our slightly crazy conceptual ideas and turning them into reality.”

“Lisa is the consummate professional, delivering multiple projects running alongside each other with clearly mapped out timeframes which were always met. She made the whole process an exciting one for our children as well, which was greatly appreciated.”

“We are beyond delighted with the end result and love spending time at home now. Lisa is lovely and was really fantastic to work with, she made the whole experience super easy and really invested a lot of her time to help deliver the perfect result including dressing all of the rooms (I came home to find her hoovering one day!).”

“The install day was done all at once in a day. Lisa and the traders worked tirelessly to surprise us at the end of the day with a beautiful home to enjoy at half term. It was like magic — Lisa is the Mary Poppins of interior design!”
