The brief
Part of a delightful cluster on the Dollis Hill Estate known for neat proportions, period details and charming balconies. A ground-floor extension into the garden created room for a larder, utility and guest WC.
Our work covered spatial planning and detailed interior design throughout the build. The outcome has transformed the family’s day-to-day living, replacing a cluster of small, dark rooms with a far better flow.
What we did
Full design concepts, mood boards, floor plans and joinery drawings. Sourcing of furniture and fixtures. Born & Bred completed the renovation with our trades and contacts.
“Lisa lives and breathes design — it’s not so much a passion or an expertise but a true vocation. For novices like myself, she manages to make interior design accessible, affordable and user friendly. Crucially, Lisa isn’t just an ideas person. She has many practical skills, from upholstery and curtain making to screen printing, which she put to good use in the house.”
